Joining hands and helping out..
A time of giving…. Throughout the year the staff at Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin provides different in-house activities to raise money to be donated to those in need during difficult times and the holidays. It is from our heart, that wonderful feeling of giving back that makes this time remarkable and rewarding for all that are involved. But most importantly it is for those who receive. We are a community-focused company, and we are so thankful that we are able to give back.
Those who received: a sick friend with cancer, a daughter with stage 4 breast cancer, the 206 Club (a non-profit place where people can go to hang out and be in a drug-free and alcohol-free environment), an aunt whose niece is in a coma, a wig for a sister-in-law that has cancer, a family who had a house fire, and a mother with her two children who are facing difficult times.
We also were able to make wishes come true for 12 children from the Dale Community Food Pantry program. And we provided gifts for 2 little girls whose mother needed a little help to make their Christmas wishes come true.
Plus we made 14 tie blankets to give to all the kids we adopted for Christmas.
