Nathan L. Van Zeeland, M.D.

Bio

Nathan L. Van Zeeland, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand. He provides comprehensive care of injuries and conditions affecting the upper limb which includes the finger, hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. He has a special interest in fracture care, nerve compression, and arthroscopic surgery of the wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Dr. Van Zeeland joined Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin in 2010. He is a Wisconsin native who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and went on to complete his orthopedic residency program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. After his residency, Dr. Van Zeeland completed two fellowships, one in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, as well as one in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Van Zeeland and his wife have three children. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, cooking maple syrup and traveling with his family.

Megan E. Milloy is a surgical first assistant to Dr. Van Zeeland in the operating room.
