Scott P. Olvey, M.D.

Bio

Scott P. Olvey, M.D. joined Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin in 2007. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand. He provides complete comprehensive care to injuries and conditions of the hand and upper extremity. Dr. Olvey has a special interest in the areas of arthritic conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow, as well as arthroscopic procedures involving the wrist and shoulder. His practice philosophy is to provide each patient with expert customized care – utilizing the most advanced techniques and technology available to reduce or eliminate your symptoms.

Dr. Olvey earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his five-year orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. During his residency he received the PGY-2 Outstanding Resident Award and the Leonard Marmour Arthritis Foundation Outstanding Orthopedic Resident Award.  Dr. Olvey then proceeded to advance his education and completed his fellowship at the Mary S. Stern Hand Surgery Fellowship program in Cincinnati, OH.

Scott P. Olvey, M.D. is married with three children.
