Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin announces addition of two physicians

 APPLETON, WI (March – 2020) Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin, a subspecialty orthopedic clinic in Appleton and Green Bay welcomes Shawn P. Hennigan, M.D. and Blake W. Hildahl, M.D., ATC to their team of physicians.

Dr. Hennigan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty focus on shoulder and elbow injuries and conditions. He earned his medical degree from Temple University and completed his orthopedic residency at Rush University in Chicago, IL. In 2000, he completed his fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. His specialties include total and reverse total shoulder replacement arthroplasty, shoulder arthroscopy including rotator cuff repairs, as well as joint sparing salvage procedures for irreparable rotator cuff tears. He treats all shoulder and elbow problems ranging from relatively simple to very complex conditions. He recently practiced in the Green Bay area.

Dr. Hildahl is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty focus on the hand and upper extremity. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Following his residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, he completed the Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship program at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hildahl treats all injuries and conditions from fingertip to shoulder. His specialties include upper extremity trauma, sports injuries, nerve compression and osteoarthritis. He is a native of Wisconsin, and has most recently practiced in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota.
