Thinking ahead: There are many things that most people take for granted that become difficult or impossible to do single-handedly. As you plan ahead for surgery with the possibility of spending 2-10 weeks in a surgical dressing/splint or cast, we recommend some preparation make daily activities and tasks easier to handle.
