
Bio
Joseph P. Cullen, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand. He provides complete comprehensive care to the upper extremity including the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Dr. Cullen has a special interest in rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, nerve and tendon disorders, arthroscopy, as well as trauma of the hand and upper extremity. Dr. Cullen completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with distinction and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He attended medical school at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina and graduated with the honor of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). His post-graduate residency training in Orthopedic Surgery was completed at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. Dr. Cullen earned his fellowship in Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity from the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Joseph Cullen has practiced as an Orthpaedic Hand Surgeon in northeast Wisconsin since 1994 and in 2008, joined the Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin.
